Web Design Fundamentals: A One-Day Workshop
A focused workshop covering the core principles of web design — layout, typography, colour, and usability — with hands-on practice throughout the day.
Each session is led by working professionals who spend most of their time doing the craft, not just talking about it. Sessions are kept small so there's actual room for feedback and iteration.
A focused workshop covering the core principles of web design — layout, typography, colour, and usability — with hands-on practice throughout the day.
A two-day conference bringing together working designers, developers, and product people to talk honestly about what web design looks like right now.
Sessions run for two to three hours and follow a real project from brief to delivery. You won't be watching slide decks — the instructor works through a live Figma file while narrating decisions in real time. Questions interrupt the flow, which is the point.
Participants leave with a copy of the working file, annotated with the reasoning behind each design choice. Several students have described this as more useful than any written tutorial because the context stays attached to the artifact.
Live via video call, small cohorts, recorded for 14-day replay access after the session ends.
Basic familiarity with design software helps, but each class specifies its own starting point clearly.
All sessions conducted in English. Written materials are available in English only.
Petra has been building design systems at mid-size product companies for eight years. Her sessions focus on component architecture and how to make interfaces that hold up under real usage, not just in the demo state.
Nadia spent six years at a Stockholm-based editorial studio before moving into product work. She brings an unusually sharp eye for type, hierarchy, and the small spacing decisions that separate polished from rough.
Irem works primarily on complex data-heavy interfaces where interaction design carries most of the weight. Her masterclass approach is hands-on with Figma prototypes built from scratch during each session.
Browse the cards above and check the topic against where you actually are in your practice. Each class page has a clear description of what prior experience is expected.
Spots are limited to keep the sessions genuinely interactive. Once payment is confirmed you'll receive a calendar invite with the video call link and any prep materials.
Show up with your design tool open. The instructor shares their screen from the start, so you can follow along and build in parallel if that's how you learn best.
After the session you receive the working files, and access to the recording for 14 days. No subscription needed — it's included with registration.
